COVID-19 Awareness Course for Civilian Volunteers and Branch Members -Now Mandatory

Message from Jennifer Bennett, President Ontario Division (paraphrased)

We have now received confirmation that the COVID 19 Awareness training that is mandatory for COATS and paid volunteers is now available and recommended for all Navy League civilian volunteers in Branches as well as Sea Cadet and Navy League Cadet Corps.

The COVID-19 Awareness Training is now available on line for Civilian Volunteers through the Cadet Portal at

https://portal-portail.cadets.gc.ca/ Anyone with an existing account can log in with your current credentials or you can set up a new account to access the training using the instructions below.

While this is voluntary training at this point, it will likely become a compulsory requirement, so I would recommend that you encourage Branch members and Corps staff complete this early to ensure we are compliant with directives that will follow.
