ANNUAL MEDALS, AWARDS, BURSARY AND SCHOLARSHIPS

It is the local Branch's responsibility to identify and support applications for recognition for cadets, Branch members, volunteers, and supporters, from all available sources - Military and civilian.

One major source of external Awards for Sea Cadets, Navy League Cades and volunteers, is the Navy League of Canada. We welcome parents, Branch members and other volunteers to review the Navy League of Canada’s Awards Programme Booklet.

As a team we support our cadets, corps’ staff and volunteers in identifying deserving individuals and organizations and providing what support we can to complete and submit application packages and nomination forms. The Navy League's Programme Booklet provides criteria, timelines, forms and process for all the awards. It also identifies what format the award comes in.

For local annual training awards, the Branch is responsible for the annual maintenance and engraving of the trophies and keepers (medallions), Reviewing Officer gifts and receptions. Funding is managed through annual donations.
